I get my mom to hem all my pants these days. When I lived in DC, I think it was usually $10 to get pants hemmed. But I had a lot of stuff hemmed, so they usually gave me a discount (I no longer remember how much!) when I brought in a giant pile of stuff. I think it was about $25 to have my blazers altered a little bit.
