My Tote Gote Model B project is nearly complete. I am hoping someone can help with an image or description of the rear brake linkage (this is the brake that puts a small section of V-belt against the first jackshaft). When I purchased the Gote the rear brake was intact but any cable or linkage was long gone. Nice Tote Gote. You have a model 665, a step up from the 600. The 665 had a rear suspension with shocks. The wire coming from the motor was for a kill switch. Any lights on these old gotes were from a separate battery powered kit. The throttles were always rigged because they wouldn't reach full speed with the governor intact.Tote Gote Sales. The original engine was a Briggs and Stratton single cylinder 6-1/2 horse power. For dependability and cost reasons it was replaced by a 212 cc, 6-1/2 hp, single cylinder Predator engine. The belt sheave looks like it uses a narrower belt than a 7/8" wide tote gote belt. So a Comet 20 clutch may work for you.
