Moanalua Valley Trail is the back route and legal access to the Haiku Stairs, which is illegal to access from the front stairway. The trailhead begins at Moanalua Valley Park. The first part of the trail is fairly flat and easy consisting of 17 riverbed crossings. Pass all the crossings and continue to follow the trail.
