I replaced the top casting that has three seals and removed the bottom nut and casting to change the entire unit out. It has some sort of motion sensor. The "low oil" alarm is for when the oil resevoir is low. I would immediately mix the fuel to 50::1, in case the no oil alarm is accurate, until you fix the motor.

May 20, 2011. #4. Re: Johnson 150 HP Compression. OMC came out with the low compression (bathtub) heads starting in 1983. You have those heads on the basic 150 powerhead. Their compression was significantly lower. Those heads ran compression around 90+.
