Gmc acadia shakes when accelerating

Jun 1, 2017 · 51 posts · Joined 2011. #1 · Jun 1, 2017 (Edited) Hi Everyone, My Acadia has started to rock side-to-side (left/right) at highway speeds (> 60 mph / 100 kph). It is a 2009 SLT1 (18" wheels) with 65,000 mi / 105,000 kms. Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

Nov 1, 2013 · We purchased a 2014 Acadia Denali AWD on 8/28/13. This vehicle has had a vibration since then that to date has not been fixed. We returned it to dealer and first attempt was Road Force Balance. Vibration still there. Vibration goes away when drive shaft is removed. GM was contacted and rep told dealer to replace differential clutch drum assembly. A very common problem with the transmission in these vehicles is the clutch plates which are used in 3rd gear.
