Heater core leak
Last night, I finally did a pressure test on my G35 and they came to a conclusion that the heater core does have a leak. The quote for the fix is an astonishing $1200 for parts and labor. To break it down it was: Heater Core = 250est. Labor = 650est. Recharge the AC Unit = 150. Flush the Coolant System = 89.The part number is 79110-S0X-A01 and cost $296 from Hondapartsnow.com (aftermarket should be cheaper). This is the only part that could leak inside the cabin on the front heating system. I looked at the connection and it looks like the hose snaps in to the heater core inlet/outlet port/nipple and is secured by a clip.
