Bleeding after intramuscular injection

It happens on occasion, no biggie. As long as it's not shooting out blood, you should be okay. Sounds like you were clear and careful with the injection. I do IM and I have never had blood "shoot out", meaning like go in the air. I have had a lot of blood build up on the injection site and start to pool there.
